Alsace is passionate about giving youth opportunities to spend time engaged in positive activites. The world makes it so easy to make choices that take you off of God’s path for your life.. Youth group is a great place to meet friends and grow your faith in a really exciting way. From the Winter Jam Christian Rock Concert to the 24 hour famine there is something for everyone.
Saturday, March 28 – Youth are to report at 10:30 a.m. to set up for the Easter Egg Hunt. Following the Egg Hunt, we will go for lunch (money is needed) and then return to the church to get the ground ready for planting and to rehearse the Youth Service.
Sunday, April 12 – Youth-led Worship Service at 8:15 and 10:45.
Youth are needed for offering and to participate and “the class” during the sermon.
At 11:50 (following the 10:45 service) we will go for lunch (money is needed) and then travel to Laser Quest (cost is $20 per person) to challenge the youth from Good Shepherd Lutheran. We will be playing 4 games.
Sunday, April 19 – Swen & Dean
We will socialize with them during the Sunday School hour (9:30-10:30). Following the 10:45 service we will join them for lunch followed by a concert from 1:00-2:30 p.m.
Saturday, May 9 – Lake Tobias
We will leave the Alsace parking lot at 8:15 a.m. to travel to Lake Tobias. Cost is $10 per person and includes the Zoo and Safari Tour. Money will be needed for lunch.
Sunday, May 17 – Work Day at Church
Lunch will be provided after the 10:45 service.
Thursday, June 18 to Sunday, June 21 – Shore Trip to Ocean City, NJ
Cost: $170 for youth members & advisors; $200 for guests of youth members.
Cost includes: hotel for 3 night, transportation, $15 for lunches ($5 for Friday, $5 for Saturday and $5 for Sunday), dinner on Friday and Saturday, miniature golf and beach tags.
If a family wishes to travel with us the cost of the room is $482 (4 to a room). If they would like to join us for dinner on Friday and/or Saturday and miniature golf that would be an additional cost. Each room receives two beach tags so if the other two people are 12+ additional beach tags would need to be purchased for $10.

Sunday, July 19 – Peach Festival
This is the only Fundraiser the Youth Group has to help with expenses between September, 2015 to July, 2016.
Preparation takes place on Friday, July 17 from 7:00 p.m. until ?; Saturday, July 18 from 8:00 a.m. until ? (money is needed for lunch) and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. until clean up is finished after the Festival (money is needed for lunch).
